Little Miss Sunshine...

We had the honor of hosting a very important person last week, such an honor to be in the presence of an extremely great group of people. It had been raining for quite some time and the dinner was outside on our patio so I must admit I was a little worried, but it worked out! The humidity wasn't bad and there was actually a little breeze that would blow our fountain from our pond and would mist our faces and it kept us cool...what a perfect night! I am totally digging this color combo also, I think it's a great fall transition when you're weather is still 95 degrees like it is here! Cobalt blue is once again a HOT color for fall! This is me lookin like Little Miss Sunshine, except I didn't get on my knees and start dancing on a stage LOL..man I love that movie!

Let's Play Ketchup...Catch Up...Man I love Ketchup

I love that I have such a great group of friends that I have had since I was in middle school. We have all lived in different places (I moved to Austin and back home, Erica moved to Dallas, Kristin lived in Waco, New York, San Antonio, now back home, Kristy is in Dallas, Beth is in Louisiana and Katie in Florida) and no matter what... we can plan a girl's weekend and I swear you would've thought we had just seen each other the day before! We planned to all meet up at our girl Kristin's farm house (our boys got to tag along) in Fredericksburg and it was so great just to relax, chit chat, eat good food, go to a winery and just be in great company! What else could a girl ask for!? And my have times changed...there were 3 of us with our little critters crawling around...it was awesome!

Our one big happy family having a home cooked dinner!

Mia eaves dropping in our big girl's conversation HAHA and

Mia...just being Mia..

Yes...we were those people at the winery with kids.

Mia's 6-9 Month Must Haves

Here we are staring at September and this critter of mine will be turning 11 months in a couple of weeks! It's incredible to see her attempting to walk, get her point across and more than anything watching her DANCE! My goodness can this little girl get down. That will be another post. Check out the fabulous products that got us through these fab few months!

1.) Combi All in One Activity Walker - Babies R Us
I first saw my girlfriend Lisa's little girl driving this rad little toy, I asked her right away cause I knew Mia had to have it! They didn't have black or pink at the moment so blue had to do! It looks like a total classic, huh? SO CUTE!
2.) Lulu Ladybug Chair Walker - Dada Baby Boutique
Mia loves this little rocker! It has different buttons for different sounds and music and she can rock all day on this thing. They have different little critters like dragons, bumble bees etc. The last I saw an ad for these, they were 50% off at Zulily.
3.) Cloud B on the Go Travel Size Plush Sound Machine & Large Size - Babies R Us
I must say that Mia is quite the traveler, by car right now and she is pretty bomb diggity. Example, I feed her before we take off to Austin (which is a 4 1/2 hour ride), she will wake up in San Antonio to get a diaper change and eat a little snack and fall back to sleep until we pull into the hotel. These little sound machines help to keep her silent and a smooth passenger! MUST GET! They come in travel size and she has a larger one for her crib.
4.) First Years Nursery Bottle Warmer - Babies R Us
I can NOT believe I forgot I had this in my bottom cabinet in my kitchen. This little girl received so many gifts at the baby shower that I'm pretty sure we have yet to give her all her goodies. I wish I would not have forgotten about this bottle warmer because it is UH-MAZE! This warmer never over heats and warms up in a minute. No joke, I was going old school and warming up the water on the stove..what a dufus.
5.) TOMS Shoes - Joe Brand - La Plaza Mall
One of my fave stores at our local mall is Joe Brand. Here is where we get our high end fix because we do not have a Nordstrom, Neiman's or Saks. They have a great selection of Tory Burch, Burberry and of course Tom's...for Mia. Cuteness!
6.) B.O.B. Revolution SE Stroller - Albee Baby
I love running so it was a must that I register for this stroller. These wheels are great and work great on street, the hills or grass when I feel like taking Mia a stroll around the grounds. She really gets a kick out of the breeze and is usually asleep after a long run.
7.) Food Pouches - Earth's Best
These pouches are so so convenient when on the go! When i'm at home I love feeding her so i'll use jar food but on the go, I just throw them in the bag and go.
8.) Noodle & Boo Super Soft Lotion - Zoodles (local boutique in McAllen, Texas)
Thank thank goodness that a new baby boutique has FINALLY opened up where I live. I don't mind shopping online for myself when I have to, but then having to order my fave products for Mia online is such a pain cause it's usually something I need right away like jammies or soap or diapers. The worse is my home is gated and if n oone answers, the mail man takes off with my goodies and sends them to the post office and leaves me a little slip..UGH when I see that slip I get so so frustrated LOL so dramatic cause that means a trip to the P.O and the lines are just NO bueno! Well ZOODLES to the rescue! They carry the cutest baby stuff and a lot of my fave products like my yummy Noodle and Boo. I'm hoping to do a post on them soon!
9.) Sunscreen - California Baby
We spend alot of time at the beach and this summer Mia had a ball splashing in the ocean and playing in the sand! This sunscreen was great and she did not have any skin reactions or burns, Score!
10.) Sleeping Bags - Aden and Anais
OoOoh Mia, since she was itty bitty she hated being swaddled. I'm sure I posted a while back that I would call her Houdini and little Miss Independent. Since she doesn't like being in confined quarters I purchased a few of these sleeping bags and they work like a charm! After a warm bath, I lather her up with her Noodle & Boo lotion, strap on her diaper and just toss her in this airy sleeping bag! They're amazing and she can still wiggle around at night.

Happy Shopping Friends
