Olive + Oak

I was so excited when my childhood friend Lisa Garcia reached out to me about a collaboration with Olive + Oak , a very cool collection of stylish clothing based out of New York. Little did I know that she was actually an assistant designer to this clothing line and I couldn't be any prouder! I just love hearing and seeing friends of mine doing what they love, excelling in their craft and making it big! So insane when I heard you can find Olive + Oak at Nordstrom, Bloomingdales, Lord and Taylor, Macy's, Urban Outfitters, Nasty Gal and Piperlime.com & specialty stores around the U.S. ::SIIIIGH:: WOAH! Go on with yo bad selves! The pieces from the line are sophisticated but so fun! I loved that this top was classy with a twist of a funky print that can be styled in so many ways! I was feeling very vixen so I paired it with OTK boots and a faux leather skirt but this can easily be worn to a business meeting with a tailored skirt and a blazer!

Street Walker...no that's not right...

One of the great benefits of being one of the owners at The Dry Room is the location and the beauty that seriously surrounds me every single day. There is really something special and charming about Main Street that gets me all giddy and fuzzy inside. I think it has a lot to do with the history, the palm trees and an Austin-like feel. Well lucky for me, cause as a blogger I have great places to take pics! These were taken at the cross walk from The Dry Room to Archer Park across the street from us. :)

Beyond Creations

Mia and Natalia were kindly asked to be models for Beyond Creations, a local bow company that sells to small and large retailers. I couldn't pass up the opportunity to shoot with one of my fave local photographers Angela Garmendia! I swear we always have so much fun even if we are running around the set chasing Mia, feeding her trail mix in the middle of the shoot and giving her a raisin to smile. Can we just say it looked like we were giving her treats like a puppy LOL But on the other hand, Natalia was quite the pro! She just did her thang. SO proud of her. Take a look...

I love hitting the streets in my jammies! You've seen celebs rocking their lingerie and sleep wear on the streets and it's just something that I've always loved doing but this time I went a little fancy lol. Dream

I'm seriously so lucky to have so many photographer friends! Whenever I'm in a pickle and can't figure out settings on my camera, my lighting, aperture, bokeh or whatever..they're taking me step by step over the phone. LOL These pictures do NOT reflect the quality of their photography as I took these on my own lol but I tried! I really want to get better at my indoor pictures but baby steps. Lord knows I'm no professional but I thought these were hella' cute!
